Submission
Please hand your disk
[a CD is a disk] and 2 hard copies fully labelled with
PAPERCODE to GSC Office Services Desk or Conference
Registration Desk by the last
day of conference.
Note: label the disk not the envelope containing it
. DO NOT HAND US YOUR "MEMORY STICK" AS
YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK!
Please label your work with your PAPERCODE.
Do not hand in CDs or disks without at least papercode
and name.
The papercodes are
file names. Your work file name is
papercode.pdf for world
wide searching. The title of your paper does not
matter to the computers. Your work will be indexed by
papercode and your name. The work is
indexed by all authors
but the papercode has the alpha characters of the
first author.
The first 3 alpha
characters of the papercode are the first 3 letters of
the first named author. The first 2 digits represent
the year of presentation. The next 3 digits are a
running number assigned by the conference organisers
for this year.
The
papercode/filename should be the first thing in the
top left hand corner of your paper on disk and hard
copies. You must put it there as we cannot edit the
pdf files.
You are asked to put
each paper on a separate disk. [We get the papers and
disks (together) and after we have put the papers on
the www we file the disks separately. If a disk has
two papers on it we may have trouble finding the
second paper if we later need to reload the paper on
the website.
We
publish fully written title page
presentations - NOT POWERPOINT or similar.
Presentations are one thing - papers are what we
publish.
